NANKHATAI  

Had a break in between so came with a late post 
I had made Nankhatai for the ocassion of rakhi as well as for sheetla saptami


INGREDIENTS :-

1 cup all purpose flour ( or u can also take wheat flour )
3/4 cup powdered sugar 
3/4 ghee ( if it is pure desi ghee so its better to take half cup instead of 3/4 cup )
1 tsp powdered cardamom powder 
1 pinch of baking soda 
1 pinch of salt 

1 tsp  rose water ( optional )


Method:-

Take ghee and sugar in a flat big plate and mix it well with the help of your palm for about 5 min
Then add all the other ingredients and knead a soft dough 
Then take small portion from the dough , make a ball and flatten it like patties 
Place it on a baking flat tray and put a cross sign in between 
Then bake it at 180 degree preheated oven for about 20 to 25 min

U can add finely chopped dry fruits if u want
